This report is the published product of a study undertaken on behalf of DustScan Ltd (DustScan), by the British Geological Survey (BGS). The purpose of the study was to validate the collection efficiency of a PM_2.5 impactor, designed for use with the DustScan DS500X sampling equipment, by using a variety of particle size analysis techniques. The work was undertaken by the BGS Centre for Environmental Geochemistry between January and March 2016.
