Chalk Group Lithostratigraphy: Northern England - Willerby Flints

These are three thick (0.1-0.25 m), non-carious, tabular or lenticular flints occupying a c. 4 m thick chalk interval, and represent the highest of a succession of dark grey flints, all the flints above being pale grey (Gaunt et al., 1992).
