Chalk Group Lithostratigraphy: Northern England - Enthorpe Oyster Beds

Comprises 0.1-0.25 m of relatively soft chalk with pycnodonteine oysters and brachiopods (Wood & Smith, 1978), but typically much less well developed than the underlying Ulceby Oyster Bed (Gaunt et al., 1992).
