The project activities are independent of operations at the Preston New Road site and of environmental regulation and regulators. The research is ongoing and the project team will continue in its remit to acquire and report data and evidence for the characterisation of baseline conditions. We are also committed to continuing environmental monitoring through any exploration stage, including during hydraulic fracturing, should this take place.
