The Moray Ness Regional GSI3D model covers an area of over 1200 km<sup>2</sup>; it is bounded to the north by the Moray Firth and to the south by higher ground where basement rock outcrops at surface (Figure 1).

The model is suitable for scales up to 1:625 000, down to a depth of -400 m OD.
