Cutler's Quarry, WNW of Dale House near Longridge, is a disused quarry in the main Pendleside Limestone above the Rad Brook Mudstone Member. Thin to thick-bedded, bioturbated, grey [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wackestone wackestones] and packstones with common black chert lenses and nodules, some graded beds and shaly mudstone intercalations. The thick massive beds comprise dark grey [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wackestone wackestones] and thinner graded [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wackestone wackestones]/packstone beds with sharp bases and directional [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sole_markings sole structures] (Aitkenhead et al., 1992). Slump folds are present in the extreme right-hand part of the quarry face.

Dale House Quarry NW of Dale House near Longridge. Disused quarry in Pendleside Limestone above the Rad Brook Mudstone Member. Thin to thick-bedded, grey to dark grey [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wackestone wackestones] and packstones some with abundant chert nodules, some graded beds and shaly mudstone intercalations, similar to Cutler’s Quarry. Total thickness 25.36 metres.
